Deployed v2.4.0 to production. All health checks passing.

Nice. Saw the latency drop to 120ms on the dashboard. The new caching layer is working.

Quick heads up: the webhook endpoint for Stripe is returning 502 intermittently. Might be the new middleware. Looking into it now.

Check the request timeout on the payment service. We bumped it to 30s but the gateway might be cutting at 10s.

I can confirm the timeout issue. The gateway has a hard 10-second limit. We need to add a retry mechanism or reduce the processing time.

Found it. The session validation was making a redundant DB call on every webhook. Removed it and response times are under 2s now.

Confirmed. Webhook success rate back to 100%. Good catch Dana.

Let's add a webhook latency alert in Datadog so we catch these earlier. I'll create the monitor after lunch.

Already on it. Set a threshold at 5s with a 3-minute evaluation window. Will post the monitor link in #observability.
