What's the difference between this and the official shadcn/ui?

shadcn/ui is an open-source component library by @shadcn. shadcn.io is a separate, independent project that builds on top of shadcn/ui, offering thousands of production-ready blocks and templates. We are not affiliated with the official shadcn/ui project.

What do I get with a Pro subscription?

A Pro subscription grants you a non-exclusive license to access and use all Pro Blocks and Components while your subscription is active. We offer three license types: Individual (1 seat, personal non-commercial use only), Team (up to 5 seats, commercial use allowed), and Organization (unlimited seats, commercial use allowed).

What is a Lifetime license?

The Lifetime license grants permanent access to all current and future Pro Blocks and Components with a one-time payment. Lifetime licenses include all updates released after purchase. Available for Individual, Team, and Organization tiers.

What happens when I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

When your subscription ends, you retain the right to use any Pro Blocks and Components you accessed during your active subscription in existing End Products. However, you will no longer have access to download new Pro Blocks, receive updates, or use newly released components. To continue receiving updates, maintain an active subscription or purchase a Lifetime license.

Can I modify the Pro Blocks?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can modify the Pro Blocks and Components to create derivative blocks and components. Those blocks and components are subject to the same license terms.

Can I share my Pro access with others?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your license type. Individual licenses may not be shared. Team licenses allow up to 5 seats within the same organization. Organization licenses allow unlimited seats within the purchasing organization. All team members must belong to the same company or legal entity.

A Seat refers to one authorized user under a license. Individual licenses include one seat. Team licenses include up to five seats. Organization licenses include unlimited seats within the purchasing organization.

What can I do with an Individual license?

Accepted Answer

Individual licenses are for personal, non-commercial use only. You can use the Pro Blocks for personal projects, learning, experimentation, and open source projects. You cannot use an Individual license for commercial purposes, client work, or any project where end users are charged a fee. For commercial usage, upgrade to a Team or Organization license.

Can I use the Pro Blocks in commercial projects?

Commercial usage is available with Team and Organization licenses only. Individual licenses are for personal, non-commercial use. With a Team or Organization license, you can use the Pro Blocks to create unlimited End Products for unlimited Clients, including: commercial SaaS applications where end users pay a fee, commercial self-hosted web applications sold for a one-time fee, and websites or web applications for clients.

Can I use Pro Blocks for open source projects?

Yes, you can use the Pro Blocks and Components to create End Products that are open source and freely available to End Users, as long as the primary purpose is not to simply re-distribute the blocks.

Can I use Pro Blocks to build a website builder or UI kit?

Accepted Answer

No. You cannot use the Pro Blocks to create End Products that allow an End User to build their own End Products using the Pro Blocks. This includes website builders, UI libraries, theme/template starter kits, admin panel tools (like Laravel Nova or ActiveAdmin), and Figma or Sketch UI kits based on the Pro Block designs.

Can I redistribute the Pro Blocks?

Accepted Answer

No. You cannot re-distribute the Pro Blocks or derivatives separately from an End Product, neither in code or as design assets. This includes: creating a repository of Pro Blocks, creating a UI library, or converting templates to another framework.

Can I create themes or starter kits with Pro Blocks?

Accepted Answer

No. Creating a theme, template, or project starter kit using the Pro Blocks or components and making it available either for sale or for free is not allowed by the license.

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Due to the nature of digital products, we typically do not issue refunds. Once a digital file is delivered, it cannot be returned. We ask that you carefully consider your purchase before completing it.

What are common scenarios where refunds are not granted?

Refunds are typically not granted when: you've already downloaded the product but decided you no longer want it, you changed your mind after purchasing, the item was bought by mistake, you're unable to use or implement the code due to lack of technical skills, you feel the item doesn't meet your personal expectations, or you request a refund without offering a valid reason.
