Overview
Track what happened to each device in an update window with this changelog timeline for React with Ark UI. It is written for Updeck, a fictional device-management tool, and shows one account's three devices across two Tuesday windows, newest first. Every row has the device, the version change in mono, a result as a glyph and a word (Installed, Rolled back, Failed or Scheduled) and a line saying how long it took or why it did not. Tonight's two scheduled updates sit on top as dashed nodes on a dashed rail. A band over the rail names the next window and how long until it, and holds a Switch, Skip tonight's window, which turns those nodes to Skipped, hollow and struck through with the word, and says so in the status line. It is the account's history, not a list of releases. The devices are example data.
FAQ
How do I change the updates?
Edit UPDATES, newest first. Each has a device, from and to versions, a time, a result (installed, rolledback, failed or scheduled) and a note. WINDOW_AT is the next window; the wait is derived from AS_OF.
What does the switch do?
It marks every scheduled row as skipped in the page: hollow node, struck-through name and the word Skipped. Turning it off brings them back. Nothing is scheduled or cancelled anywhere.
What stays local in the demo, and how do I wire it for real?
The switch is state in the page and nothing is installed. In a real tool, save the skip against the window through your API and read the scheduled rows back.
