New Document Layer

The new-document-layer icon represents creating a new document or layer, often used in user interfaces to indicate adding or creating new content. This icon is typically used in mobile and web applications to facilitate user interaction with documents or layers. Its simple design makes it easily recognizable as a creation action.

In software and digital products, the new-document-layer icon is commonly used in document editing, design, or graphic tools to guide users through creating new documents or layers. For example, in a graphic design application, this icon might appear as a button to create a new layer. Popular platforms like Adobe XD, Figma, and Sketch use such icons to enhance user experience.

From a UX perspective, the new-document-layer icon communicates creation and addition, helping users understand that they can add new content or layers. Its use can reduce cognitive load by making document or layer creation intuitive and straightforward.

Open Get icon, then Copy as code, and pick Vue, Svelte, Angular, Solid or Preact; the Code section shows each one too. Every version is one self-contained component with the SVG inside, and SVG and data URL copies are there for plain HTML and CSS.
