New Folder

The new-folder icon represents a new directory or folder in a digital file system. It is commonly used to create a new folder or directory in a computer or online storage system. The icon is often used in file management systems to help users organize their files and folders.

In software applications such as file explorers, operating systems, and cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive, the new-folder icon is used to create a new folder or directory. This icon is also used in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to represent a new folder or directory in a digital design project.

From a UX perspective, the new-folder icon communicates the action of creating a new folder or directory, helping users to understand the functionality of the icon and navigate the interface easily. It also helps users to organize their files and folders in a logical and structured way.

Open Get icon, then Copy as code, and pick Vue, Svelte, Angular, Solid or Preact; the Code section shows each one too. Every version is one self-contained component with the SVG inside, and SVG and data URL copies are there for plain HTML and CSS.
