Dark Skin Tone

The dark skin tone icon represents a specific skin tone variation used in emojis to promote diversity and inclusivity. It is part of the Twemoji library, a popular emoji set used across various platforms. The icon itself does not have a specific meaning but represents a variation in skin tone for emojis.

In real-world applications, the dark skin tone icon is used in various software and platforms that support Twemoji, such as Twitter, where it can be used to represent a user or to add diversity to emoji communications.

From a UX perspective, the dark skin tone icon communicates inclusivity and diversity, allowing users to express themselves in a more personalized way. It helps users understand that the platform supports and values diversity.

Copy it as React (from Get icon, or the Code section): a typed DarkSkinToneIcon component you paste into your project, with no package to install. Only the icons you import reach your bundle. It works in Next.js and any React app.

Open Get icon, then Copy as code, and pick Vue, Svelte, Angular, Solid or Preact; the Code section shows each one too. Every version is one self-contained component with the SVG inside, and SVG and data URL copies are there for plain HTML and CSS.
