Partly. The shadcn.io MCP server (Pro) finds templates like Alt+Shift from a description and can add components and blocks to your project, but a premium template's code comes from its page: download it there with Pro, then let your editor work in it. The MCP's files stay on your machine.
Yes. Alt+Shift and every other shadcn.io template, block, and component are bundled in the Pro plan. Monthly, yearly or lifetime — see /pricing for the breakdown.
Yes. Every Pro plan includes updates, and Lifetime keeps them coming for good. New sections, bug fixes, and shadcn/ui major-version upgrades land via the shadcn CLI or the MCP server.
With a Pro plan, open Download on the Alt+Shift page. It goes to your dashboard (/dashboard/template), where Alt+Shift downloads as a zip of its repository. Without Pro the download is refused.
The Individual license is for personal, non-commercial use, and the Team (up to 5 seats in one company) and Organization (unlimited seats) licenses cover commercial use. Client work and anything your users pay for is commercial use.
No. You can use Alt+Shift as the start of your own site or product, but you can't redistribute it on its own, or inside a template, starter kit or website builder.
If your plan ends, you keep using what you already accessed in your existing projects, but you get no new downloads or updates. A Lifetime license includes all future updates.
The signup form posts to a single typed server action (`server/actions/signup-beta.ts`). Replace its body with a Resend / ConvertKit / Loops API call — input validation and the success state are already handled. No frontend changes required.
Yes — colors flow through Tailwind v4's CSS variables (edit OKLCH values in `app/globals.css` or paste any shadcn/ui theme). The launch date lives in a single typed `LAUNCH_DATE` constant — change it once and the countdown plus any “Launching DD/MM” copy updates everywhere.
Alt+Shift is a Next.js app, so it deploys wherever Next.js does, such as Vercel, a Node.js server or a container. Run the build script from its package.json and deploy the output as you would for any Next.js project.
