Questions and answers
Before you trust the result: what to know about the format, the limits, your data and the tools next to it.
Fade the overlapping edge of each photo with a linear gradient: if they overlap on the right, fade the right edge. Layered, the gradients make a blend zone with no visible seam.
The one that matches the overlap: left to right to blend a right edge, right to left for a left edge, top to bottom for a bottom edge. The fade should start where the photos meet.
Wider, 30 to 50 percent of the width, blends more smoothly but needs more overlap; 10 to 20 percent works with less overlap and may show a faint transition. Match it to the overlap you have.
Yes: fade each photo top to bottom or bottom to top and stack them. The graduated transparency gives a flowing vertical composition.
Run each photo through several times with a different direction each pass. Arranged, the photos blend from every side, the dense overlapping collage look.
The fade softens exposure differences at the seam, and matching the exposures in an editor first makes the blend invisible.
Uniform sets one opacity for the whole photo, from a faint ghost at 10 percent to nearly solid at 90. Linear fades from one edge to the other in the direction you choose; radial keeps the middle solid and fades toward the edges, or the other way round, with a radius you set.
Draw an area selection around the subject. A radial fade then centers on that area rather than on the frame, so an off-center face stays solid while the rest falls away.

No. The browser decodes the image and the tool writes a new file from its pixels, so camera EXIF, GPS position and text chunks in the original are not copied into the result. Keep the original file if you need them.
