Before you trust the result: what to know about the format, the limits, your data and the tools next to it.
The number of seconds since the Unix epoch, 1 January 1970 00:00:00 UTC, not counting leap seconds. It is also called Unix time or POSIX time, and it is the same number everywhere on Earth at the same instant.
In seconds, divide by 86,400 for days, 3,600 for hours. Here it is done for you: the epoch is written as a date in your zone and UTC, as ISO 8601 and RFC 2822, and relative to now.
date +%s in a Unix shell, Math.floor(Date.now() / 1000) in JavaScript, time.time() in Python, time() in PHP, Instant.now().getEpochSecond() in Java, and SELECT EXTRACT(EPOCH FROM now()) in PostgreSQL.
Unix time skips leap seconds: every day is exactly 86,400 seconds, and the clock repeats a second when one is inserted. That keeps the arithmetic simple at the cost of one second of drift per leap second.
Type the epoch (seconds, or milliseconds if it has 12 to 14 digits) and every form of the date is listed, each with a copy button. The current epoch ticks under the field.
Use the Date to timestamp fields: set the date and time in the zone chosen in the bar and read the epoch in seconds and milliseconds.

Nothing. The Epoch converter holds your input in the page's memory, so closing or reloading the tab clears it, and it saves nothing in this browser.
