Before you trust the result: what to know about the format, the limits, your data and the tools next to it.
Milliseconds since 1 January 1970 UTC, the epoch, which is what JavaScript's Date.now(), Java's System.currentTimeMillis() and many JSON APIs return. It is the Unix timestamp times 1,000, usually 13 digits today.
new Date(1700000000000) in JavaScript, or new Date(ms).toISOString() for the ISO form. In Python, datetime.fromtimestamp(ms / 1000, tz=timezone.utc).
Divide by 1,000 and drop the fraction: 1700000000000 ms is 1700000000 s. Going the other way, multiply by 1,000. Both are listed here so you can copy whichever an API wants.
A 10-digit value read as milliseconds lands in January 1970. That usually means the value is in seconds; the converter reads by size, and the unit choice forces one reading.
Paste the number and every form of the instant is listed: the date in the zone you pick, UTC, ISO 8601, RFC 2822, seconds and relative time, each with a copy button.
Set the date and time in the Date to timestamp fields and read the milliseconds, or press Now for the current value.

Nothing. The Milliseconds to date converter holds your input in the page's memory, so closing or reloading the tab clears it, and it saves nothing in this browser.
